A lawyer by profession, Peter has considerable technical experience in tax, pensions, and private client work. He has worked in international law firms, major banks and tax planning companies. Peter is well known in the international trust world with many professional and client contacts across the globe.
From July 2001 to April 2008 Peter was a Partner in Stevens & Bolton Solicitors in Guildford, Surrey, specialising in international trusts and tax law. Peter had previously been a partner in various London law firms. He has been involved in the development of tax arrangements for both onshore and offshore high net worth clients.
Until recently, Peter provided in-house legal counsel to a UK-based firm of tax planning consultants and pension scheme advisers. Since 2011 Peter has been the Chairman of a Guernsey-based trust company.
A Chartered Secretary by profession, Deborah has 20 years’ experience working in the international trust and fiduciary industry. Deborah started her career in Guernsey working for PwC, before moving to London to work for a FTSE listed investment management firm. She joined a Jersey trust company in 2003 to set up and run their London office, after which in 2010 she left to join the new London office of a Cypriot-based corporate services provider. Since 2013 Deborah has acted as a consultant to both a Guernsey fiduciary and a Swiss-based family office before establishing Imperial Trust in May 2014.
Deborah has developed considerable experience in working with both professional advisers and high net worth clients from Eastern Europe, Turkey, Russia, the middle-east and Asia. As well as working with internationally-based clients, she provides dedicated company secretarial services to start-ups and established businesses in the UK.
